Me

I live in Oxford in the UK.

I play violin/viola/baroque violin with various groups including Oxford Chamber Orchestra and the Brickwork Lizards.

I work as a consultant for Artifex on PDF software and language bindings. In the past i've worked at Undo on reversible debugging and record/replay systems for Linux, Vicon on motion-capture systems, various start-ups, RSA Security, Sibelius Software (briefly) and at Acorn.

I did my PhD at Edinburgh University, and was an undergraduate at Oxford University.

In the more distant past I played in the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra.
